RRB NTPC Mains (Stage 2) Pattern Analysis (Based on day 1 exam on 17-01-2017)

Hello Friends,

Yesterday was the first day of RRB NTPC 2016 Mains (Stage 2) exam. All the three shifts are now over and we are providing overall analysis of paper pattern and type of questions being asked on the said wxamination.

This exam contains 120 Questions with time frame of 90 minutes. As you all know three sections are there viz

General Awareness
Quantitative Aptitude and
General Intelligence and Reasoning

Lets start section wise analysis with General Awareness

General Awareness :

The level of paper can be said easy to moderate. Higher number of Current affairs related questions are being asked. Current Affairs till 2015 are being asked. Good score on Gk will give a boost to your overall score in stage 2.

Current Affairs: 10+ Questions
Physics - 2-3 Questions
Biology - 1-2 Questions
Chemistry -
history - 4-5 Questions
Geography - 2-3 Questions
Polity - 3-4 Questions
Environment -2-3 Questions
Computer - 2-3 Questions

Quantitative Aptitude:

The level of questions in this section is easy. This section will be very high scoring with maximum accuracy. Keep in mind that statitics (mean, mode, median) related questions are also being asked.
