We have perused office report dated 24.07.2019 as also the letter dated 24.07.2019 sent to Registrar, PIL (Writs) of the Registry of this Court by Hon’ble Mr. Justice G.S. Singhvi, former Judge of this Court and the Chairman of the Court appointed Committee.

In view of the aforesaid letter received from the Chairman of the Court appointed Committee, we grant four weeks’ further time to the Committee to examine and analyse the reports of the CBI and other related records.

At the request of Mr. ANS Nadkarni, learned Additional Solicitor General appearing for the respondent-Union of India, we further direct that the amount i.e. Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees ten lakh only) earlier directed to be deposited in a particular account, shall be deposited with the Registry of this Court and the Chairman of the Court appointed Committee may withdraw the said amount as and when necessary.
