Educational Qualifications
Technician Grade-I Signal (Level 5): B.Sc. in Physics / Electronics / Computer Science / IT / Instrumentation, OR a 3-year Diploma or Degree in Engineering in any of those streams.
Technician Grade-III (Level 2): Matriculation / SSLC + ITI (NCVT/SCVT) in the prescribed trade, OR Matriculation + Course Completed Act Apprenticeship in the same trade.

Basics of Computers & Applications: Computer architecture, I/O & storage devices, networking, operating systems, MS Office, internet & email, web browsers, computer virus.
Mathematics: Number system, BODMAS, quadratic equations, AP, similar triangles, Pythagoras, coordinate geometry, trigonometry, heights & distances, mensuration, sets, statistics, probability.
Basic Science & Engineering: Physics fundamentals, electricity & magnetism, basic & digital electronics, microprocessor/microcontroller, electronic measurements, CRO, LCD/LED, transducers.
Grade-III — 4 Sections

📝 How to Apply
- Visit the official website of ONE RRB of your choice (list below). Only one application per Pay Level per candidate.
- Create an account — name, father's/mother's name and DOB must match your Matriculation certificate. Mobile, email and chosen RRB cannot be modified later.
- Aadhaar / DigiLocker verification at account creation is strongly recommended.
- Live photo capture via webcam during application (wear dark clothing; remove cap/mask/glasses).
- Upload running-hand signature on white paper in black ink (JPG, 30–49 KB).
- Choose RRB and select preferences for Zonal Railways / PUs and post categories.
- Pay fee online — apply separately for each Pay Level.
- (Optional) Modify details during the modification window — ₹250 per modification.

⚠ Critical Reminders
- One application per Pay Level, one RRB. Multiple applications for the same Pay Level = disqualification + lifetime debarment.
- Separate fee per Pay Level. Applying for both Grade-I Signal and Grade-III means paying twice.
- Grade-I Signal is medical B-1; Grade-III medical varies (A-3 / B-1 / B-2 / C-1) per post.
- LASIK / refractive surgery disqualifies candidate for A-3 standard posts.
- Negative marking 1/3 in CBT. No CBAT, no skill test, no Part-B.
- Normalisation applies to multi-shift CBTs. 15 languages available for CBTs.
- Do not apply Henna on hands/feet — obstructs biometric capture.
- Beware of fake websites. Apply only via the 21 official RRB websites above.
- The Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024 applies.
