SSC CGL 2018 Exam Review and Questions Asked (07.06.2019 Day 3 Shift 2)

As you all know that from 04.06.2019 onwards SSC CGL 2018 exam has been started. Today (07.06.2019) many Candidates appeared for this exam and many more will appear in it on coming days. In this post, we have given overall exam review and questions asked on SSC CGL 2018, based on Students Feedback.

EXAM PATTERN:

The exam consists of 4 sections, namely General Intelligence (Reasoning), General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language and Comprehension total 100 questions with 2 marks for each question and negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

1. General Intelligence (Reasoning): 25 Questions (50 Marks)

2. General Awareness: 25 Questions (50 Marks)

3. Quantitative Aptitude: 25 Questions (50 Marks)

4. English Language and Comprehension: 25 Questions (50 Marks)

Exam duration is of 60 minutes (1 Hour).

SSC CGL 2018 Exam Time:

10:00-11:00 am
1:00-2:00 pm
4:00-5:00 pm

Server:

The overall review regarding SSC Server was good. Server Speed was quite improved and better than in previous years, but there were no server issues as seen in the previous day.

Exam Interface:

The Questions were properly ordered as asked in previous years. There was no mixed/jumbled question pattern. There was watermark at the background of the computer screen which was displaying candidates roll no. so, if any screenshot comes, the roll no will also be public. Hence no screenshots are expected to be leaked.

SSC CGL 2018 Exam Analysis / Review

1. General Intelligence (Reasoning): This section was of easy to moderate level. Today level of questions was easier than previous days/shifts.

2. General Awareness: This part was of moderate level. There were 6-8 questions on current affairs. This indicates that students should focus more on Current Affairs to score high. Some topics asked in earlier shifts are repeating, it is highly advised to read the topics asked in previous shifts. Questions were easy.

3. Quantitative Aptitude: This section was a little time consuming and tricky plus calculative and more lengthy than previous year questions. Speed and Faster Calculation will help significantly to handle this section.

4. English Language and Comprehension: This section was easiest, as seen in previous days/shifts, questions were repeated from previous years. There was a higher number of questions from vocabulary, mostly previously asked questions were repeated (Revise Black Book). There was one Cloze test with 5 Questions plus Questions on PQRS, Voice & Narration, Error detection, sentence improvements, etc.

Overall the exam was moderate level.
