RTI Reply Regarding SSC CGL Exam (Multiple Queries)

Hello Readers,

Today we are sharing an RTI Reply Regarding multiple queries, replied by SSC on 20-03-2017. As you all might already be aware that SSC has already updated SSC CGL 2016 Tentative Vacancy (9941) on its website yesterday (20-03-17) evening. In Another PgPortal Reply DoPT said that fresh dates for SSC CGL 2017 Notification is being finalized.

Due to large number of RTI requests a common reply is being sent. You are requested to please see answer to your questions and not get confused with the reply being furnished.


Expected date of CGLE Tier -III is 19th March, 2017.

At the time of documentation original documents are seen. 




Tentative vacancies for CGLE and other exams are available on the website of the Commission under candidates corner. State wise/ Zone wise allocation is not done by SSC. 

Which posts are suitable for Colour Blind persons CPIO has no information. Pl see the website of concerned user department.

For validity of OBC certificate non creamy layer status please see notice of relevant examination.

The categories who are eligible for age relaxation given in the notice of relevant examination. Pl see notice of exam.

No dates for CPT and Final Result of CGLE 2016 have so far been fixed.

Revised dates for notification of CGLE, 2017 are yet to be fixed by the Commission.
