Hello Friends,
Team QMaths received a query from a couple of followers whether they are eligible to change post preference at the time of document verification or not. Qmaths filed RTI to check if there is any change in SSC preference policy. Today we have received the RTI Reply. As per the RTI it is recommended to view the official notification.

As per SSC CGL 2017 official notification para 16 page 26
Preference: The Examination is being held for multiple posts with different qualifications and other requirements. The candidate, at the time of document verification, is required to indicate his Posts-wise preference very carefully. He/She would not be considered for any post, if he/she has not indicated his/her preference for such posts. Option exercised at the time of document verification will be final and therefore, candidates are advised to be careful in exercise of option for posts.
Therefore, candidates will be asked post preference at the time of document verification and can attempt JSO/AAO paper without any worry.
