Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) Recruitment Notification 2017 for Non-Teaching Posts

Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, henceforth mentioned as NVS is an Autonomous Organisation under Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education and Literacy, Govt. of India having its HQ at NOIDA (Uttar Pradesh). It has 08 Regional Offices at Bhopal, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Lucknow, Patna, Pune & Shillong and more than 600 Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas which are co-educational, fully residential schools up to Senior Secondary Level and located mainly in rural areas, all across the country except in the State of Tamil Nadu. NVS invites online applications from Indian citizens for recruitment to various non-teaching posts viz Female Staff Nurse, Catering Assistant, Lower Division Clerk/ Storekeeper, Lab Attendant in Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas and for the posts of Audit Assistant, Hindi Translator, Stenographer, Lower Division Clerk in NVS HQ / Regional Offices.

HOW TO APPLY :

(i) Candidates are required to apply Online through NVS web-site i.e. www.nvshq.org / www.nvsnt2017.org No other means/mode of application will be accepted. No hard copies of application and documents are required to be sent to NVS in connection with the online application.

(ii) The candidates shall apply online as per the qualifications and eligibility criteria mentioned as indicated above.

(iii) Candidates are required to have a valid personal email ID which must be valid for at least one year from the date of application. The NVS through its exam conducting agency may send admit card etc. through the registered email ID or the same may be downloaded from the designated portal. Under no circumstances, candidate should share/ mention email ID to/ or of any other person.

(iv) In case, a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, candidate should create his/her new email ID before applying On-line.

Before start of filling-up of application through on-line mode, the candidate should keep ready, the following relevant details/ scanned copies of documents for uploading, as applicable :

Valid E-mail ID & Mobile Number. Candidates should ensure that mobile number and email id should remain operational till the completion of entire recruitment process.
His\Her personal details.
Scanned copy of the recent passport size color Photograph (not older than 3 weeks). Candidates should ensure that the same photograph is used throughout this recruitment process.
Scanned signature.
Matriculation Certificate as proof of Date of Birth (10th Passed Certificate).
His/her educational qualifications as per eligibility criteria with percentage of marks obtained (please calculate percentage from CGPA Board’s conversion formula).
Relevant certificates like Caste, Disability, Service certificate, etc., respectively for SC/ST/PWD/Ex-service Man Candidates seeking fee relaxation.
