The Tier-II of SSC CHSL 2016 would be a descriptive paper of 100 marks in ‘Pen & Paper Mode’ and will be tentatively held on 9th July, 2017.

SSC CHSL 2016-17 Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) Details:

The SSC CHSL Tier II Descriptive Paper is worth 100 marks.
The Essay and letter may carry 50 marks each.
It would be an offline exam based on pen and paper.
Duration of the paper will be 60 MIN.
The topics would include Essay Writing (200- 250 Words)/ Letter Writing. (150-200) +-10%
The marks of this exam will be included in the preparation of final merit.
The paper is bilingual. You can choose to write in either Hindi or English.
Minimum Qualifying Marks in this exam is 33%.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 (Descriptive Paper) Preparation Tips

Read Newspapers daily (Prefer The Hindu or The Indian Express)
Practice writing
Try to first form your argument on a topic, then put your ideas in a logical order.
Stick to word limit
Pay attention to correct use of grammar.
Once you have finished writing, check for grammatical errors, repetition, spelling mistakes

SSC CHSL 2015 Tier-2 Descriptive Questions Asked

Q1. Write an essay on " Swacch Bharat Mission" in about 250 words.

Q2.Write a letter in 200 words to Sports Secretary, Department of Sports, Government of India, giving your assessment about the performance of India in Rio Olympic games and suggestion on how can improve in next Olympic games.
