Draft Recruitment Rules for Data Entry Operators (DEO)

Highlights of Draft Recruitment rules of SSC Data Entry operator Post:

1) There are Three Types of DEO: Grade A, Grade B, Grade D

2) Data Entry Operator Grade A :

Salary Structure

Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.2400/- as per 6th CPC

Age Limit : 18-25 years

Educational Qualifications:

12th Standard pass in Science Stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Speed Test : A speed test of not less than 15000 key depressions per hour for data entry work to be ascertained through speed test on computer.

3) Data Entry Operator Grade B :

Salary Structure

Rs.5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs.2800/- as per 6th CPC

Recruitment by promotion only:

(Promotion Criterion)

Data Entry Operator Grade 'A' in PB-I, Rs.5200- 20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2400/- with five years' regular service in the grade and have successfully completed training of 4 weeks in the relevant areas

4) Data Entry Operator Grade C :

Salary Structure

Rs.9300-34800 plus Grade Pay Rs.4200/- as per 6th CPC.

Data Entry Operator Grade 'A' in PB-I, Rs.5200- 20200/- with Grade Pay of Rs.2800/- with Six years' regular service in the grade and have successfully completed training of 4 weeks in the relevant areas
