RR for Senior Auditor and Senior Accountant (proposed)

Proposal for Direct Recruitment for Auditor and Senior Accountant (new recruitment rule)

After Gazette notification of (STA) Senior Tax Assistant in CBEC now its, Senior Auditor and Senior Accountant post which is proposed to be recruited through direct examination.

It is proposed that 75 % of the available seats for these posts to be filled by Direct Recruitment, with upper Age limit of 30 Years.

Note: - 1. The direct recruits will be selected on the basis of an entrance examination conducted by the Staff Selection Commission.

Promotion : Accountants in the Pay Band-1 Rs 5200-20200 Grade Pay of Rs. 2800 with six years of regular service in the Grade who have passed the Departmental Examination for Accountants.

Protection Clause: The eligibility service for the incumbents holding the post of Accountant on regular basis on the date of notification of these rules shall be three years of regular service in the grade.
