SSC CGL 2017 Tier-2 English Exam Review (17th Feb 2018)

Hello Friends,

As we all know that today (17-02-2018) onwards SSC CGL 2017 Tier-2 exam is getting started. Many Candidates appeared for this exam on day 1 and many more will appear in it on coming days. In this post we have given overall exam review and questions asked on SSC CGL 2017 Tier 2, based on Students Feedback.





Exam Pattern : (SSC CGL 2017 Tier-2 Paper-2)
  • Exam duration is of 120 minutes (2 Hour).
  • The Total Number of Questions for the Exam is: 200
  • The Total Marks for the Exam is: 200
  • Negative Marking for every wrong answer: -0.25


Timing and Punctuality: 
  • Maths : 10:30 to 12:30
  • English : 3:15 to 5:15 (PM)

SSC is very strict about punctuality, the aspirants reached after 2:45 p.m. (for ENGLISH) were not allowed.


Server and Center Management:

The overall review regarding SSC Server was good. Server Speed was quite improved and better than previous years.

Cheating and other irregularities: 

This time SSC took it very sincerely. There were multiple frisking and it was done properly.  Lab assistants were also active in most centers.


ENGLISH PAPER

REVIEW:
  • Level of paper 2 (English) was Easy to Moderate
  • Surprise: Questions were jumbled and it caused little confusion and uncomfort to candidates.
  • Most of Vocabs were New,  and a few were repeated.
  • Some of PQRS questions had initial and final lines/words marks as 1/6, while some were not.
  • Difficulty level was similar to qmaths recent mocks.

Ideal attempt 175-185 with 85% accuracy.
