Right Circular Cylinder For SSC CGL

A right circular cylinder is a three-dimensional object with two congruent circles as parallel bases and a lateral surface consisting of a rectangle.

r is the radius of a circular base of the cylinder and,
h is the height of the cylinder

Lateral Surface area = Perimeter of the base  * height of the Cylinder= 2πrh

Total Surface area (S) = Lateral surface area + 2 * base area = 2πrh + 2πr2

Volume (V) = Base area * Height = πr2h

S is the  surface area of the cylinder
V is the volume of the interior of the cylinder
