Dear Candidate
Due to a large number of RTI applications a common reply in respect of the queries pertaint to P&P I Section is being given. Pl check answer to your query.

  • -Latest tentative vacancies reported by user departments for various recruitments are available on the website of the Commission. Any change in the vacancy position will suo moto be uploaded on the Website in due .. State wize/ Zone wize vacancies are not collected by SSC. For state wize/ Zone wize vacancies pl contact concerned user Deptt. However , for MTS examination statewize vacancies are available on the website. 
  • - Tier III of CGLE, 2017 is expected on 8.7.2018. Dates for Tier IV, CGLE, 2017 are yet to decide. 
  • -Pl see tentative calendar of examinations available on the website of the Commission for notification of other examinatios. Any change in date of examinations available on the website will suomoto be uploaded on the website of the Commission.
  • -Genuineness/ Non Creamy Layer Status of OBC certificate is to be checkedby user departments and not by SSC. 
  • -recruitment of executive assistant of cbec is not to be made through CGLE.
  • -Pl check the vacancy statement of CGLE, 2017 for the posts which colour blindn candidates are eligible
  • -Fresh dates for Constable GD notification are to be fixed. It is expected shortly.
  • -Formula with regard to normalization in CGLE, 2018 will suomoto be uploaded on the website of the Commission in due course.
  • -Medical examination is not conducted by SSC. CPIO has no information with regard to medical examination.
  • -After final submission of application no change is allowed.
  • -SSC is only a recruiting agency which makes recruitment as per the vacancies reported by user departments. It has no roll in fixing the number of vacancies in any category. Pl see the notice of relevant examination.
  • -Vacancies for CGLE, 2018 are yet to be collected. All categories eligible for age relaxation are given in the notice. Pl see the notice of relevant exam.
