SSC CGL 2017 Tier-2 Maths Exam Review (9th March 2018)

Hello Friends (9 March 2018),

As we all know that 21.02.2018 paper was cancelled and rescheduled on 09.03.2018. In this post, we have given overall exam review and questions asked on SSC CGL 2017 Tier 2, based on Students Feedback and Memory.

Exam Pattern : (SSC CGL 2017 Tier-2 Paper-1)

Exam duration is of 120 minutes (2 Hour).
The Total Number of Questions for the Exam is: 100
The Total Marks for the Exam is: 200
Negative Marking for every wrong answer: -0.50

Maths (Quantitative Aptitude)

REVIEW:

Level of Paper 1 (Maths) was Moderate.
Paper seems to be of similar difficulty level as seen in the previous days (17th, 18th, & 19th, 20th) of SSC CGL 2017 Tier-2 Exam.
Again questions asked were New.
There were no direct formula-based questions, Every Question needed Analysis, Inferences and Quick Calculation.

Easy Questions : 50

Moderate Questions : 30

Tough Questions : 20

Ideal attempt 75-85 with 90% accuracy.

REVIEW OF PAPER 1 MATHS (by QMaths)

Arithmetic questions were of easy to moderate level.
Questions on Mensuration were lengthy and calculative.
Trigonometry Questions were a bit tricky and time- consuming.
Algebra was moderate Some were tough some were easy.
Those who revised previous days Questions of Algebra and Trigonometry were slightly benefited.
No Co-ordinate geometry questions were asked.
A lot of Questions had diagrams and had calculative or time-consuming questions.
Approximation method could not be applied as options were not round off numbers.
DI was on Tabular Chart Graph ratio based (Tough)

Bottom Line: Paper was almost similar difficulty level as in previous years
