In this regard, it is stated that "Attention of aspirants of SI in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF Examination, 2018 is invited to the instructions of DOPT contained in their OM No. 14017/70/87-Estt.(RR) dated 14.07.1988 specifying the provisions for determining the crucial date for calculation of age and educational qualification held by the Staff Selection Commission as per the schedule of the Tier-II/Mains/Second part of the Examination for the particular year. The commission in strict conformity with the said instructions /provisions has fixed the crucial date for reckoning of age as on 01.08.2018 in the Notice of SI/CPO Examination, 2018. It is further made explicitly clear that no change in this date will be made in the Notice of SI/CPO Examination. 2017 (meant 2018).
