Fact Sheet of SSC CGL 2016 & 2017 Examination

We are very displeased to state the mental agony SSC candidates are going through. The recruitment process of SSC has been proven to be very inefficient and lethargic.

SSC CGL 2016

The Notification of SSC CGL 2016 was published on 13th Feb 2016 and 10661 aspirants qualified this exam by clearing Three Tier Examination. The final result was declared on 5th August 2017 (539 days) but till date, no joining has been given to any of the 10661 candidates. These students preparing for years, staying away from home, and facing many difficulties to clear this exam. But their joining has been delayed. (693 Days)

SSC CGL 2017

For SSC CGL 2017, the condition is more pathetic. Its Notification was published on 16.05.2017 and Tier 1 was conducted from 05th August 2017 to 23rd August 2017 in 43 shifts for 15.43 lakhs of candidates. The result of Tier 1 was declared on 30th October 2017 (in 67 days), Tier 2 of this exam was scheduled for 10-11 Nov. 2017 which was changed to 27-31 Nov. 2017 which was again changed to 21-24 Dec which was again changed to 18-20 Jan 2018, which was again changed to 17th Feb 2018. (Delay of 99 days from Scheduled time)

277 days to Conduct Tier-2 (tentatively) from date of Notification.

It must be brought to your kind attention that the Next Date of Hearing of CAT case regarding Normalization is on 15th Feb 2018. And there is a high possibility of a further change of SSC CGL 2017 Tier-2 Dates.

There has been a CAT Case filed by some candidates due to partiality in the level of questions of SSC CGL 2017 Tier-1 examination. The said exam was conducted in 43 shifts and papers of some shifts were comparatively easier the other shifts. But the irony is SSC has not filed any reply till date, every time SSC is asking for more time to analyze data of 15 lakh candidates. But due to the advanced technologies available today, this Jon may easily be completed within a week time. It is highly doubtful that SSC is intentionally delaying the whole recruitment process in the name of the case. (Although SSC delayed the date of Tier 2 a day before hearing at CAT Delhi).

This delay in the whole process is very displeasing as well as it will cause

1) Many Candidates will become Overage.

2) Many Candidates will be selected in CGl 2016 as well as CGL 17, which is a big loss, one has to go through the whole process once again, (if he does not becomes overage).

3) SSC CGL 2018 will be further delayed and may the age be calculated from 01.08.2019 as seen from the case of SSC CHSL 2017, whose age cut-off date is 01.08.2018.

SSC CHSL 2015

The Recruitment Notification of SSC CHSL 2015 was published on 12.06.2015 and its final result was declared of 28.08.2017 (After 808 days from Date of notification ). But still, All Candidates have not received their appointment letter. ( as on 06.01.2018 939 days )

God Knows what about the promise of 180 days to complete whole recruitment process by our beloved PM.
