Hello friends,
As you all know that IBPS has released the official notification for the recruitment of IBPS PO VII 2017 recruitment. You might have observed that the exam pattern of IBPS PO Mains is changed. In this post we have explained the major changes in the exam pattern of IBPS PO 7 2017-18.
HIGHLIGHTS of Important Changes in IBPS PO VII :
- It is seen that till IBPS PO VI (2016) Reasoning and Computer Knowledge were separate sections. Now both tests are combined in one section and allotted 60 marks (45 questions).
- This time there is Data Analysis & Interpretation instead of Quantitative Aptitude (35 questions 60 marks).
- Earlier total alotted time for objective test was 140 minutes. This time the time was 3 hours (i.e., 180 minutes).
- In addition to this, there is a test on English Language (Letter Writing & Essay) in which you need to type in computer in 30 minutes (25 marks).
IBPS PO VII 2017-18 Exam Pattern (PRELIMS)
1) English : 30 Questions 30 Marks
2) Maths : 35 Questions 30 Marks
3) Reasoning : 35 Questions 30 Marks
Total Questions : 100
Maximum Marks: 100
Maximum time: 1 Hour
IBPS PO VII 2017-18 Exam Pattern (MAINS)
1) Reasoning and Computer Aptitude : 45 Questions 60 Marks in 60 minutes
2) General / Economy / Banking Awareness: 40 Questions 40 Marks in 35 minutes
3) English Language: 35 Questions 40 Marks in 40 minutes
4) Data Analysis and Interpretation : 35 Questions 60 Marks in 45 minutes
Total Questions : 155
Maximum Marks: 200
Maximum time: 3 Hour
5) English Language (Letter and Essay): 2 Questions 25 Marks in 30 minutes
