SSC CPO 2017 Tier-1 Exam Analysis and Advice

In this post we are sharing Exam analysis of SSC CPO 2017 Tier-1 Examination. This analysis is combined analysis of first 2 days exam. In this analysis we- have discussed Exam Pattern, server, Types of questions, Good attempts, advise and Questions asked.

Server : Some students complain about the lag in the server, sometime clicks were not detected till 2-3 clicks. We advise you to ensure that your click are recorded by multiple clicks if required. In case of major issue, don't hesitate to complain with invigilator.

Odd One Out – 2-3 QUES
Analogy – 3-4 QUES
Series – 4-5 QUES
Blood Relations – 1 QUES
Direction & Distance – 4 QUES
Dictionary Order – 1 QUES
Venn Diagram Problem – 2-4 QUES,
Matrix – 2 QUES
Word Formation – 1 QUES
Coding Decoding – 2-3 QUES
Mirror Image – 2 QUES
Paper Cutting and Folding – 2 QUES
Hidden/Embedded Image – 1 QUES
Dice Problem – 1 QUES
Counting Figures – 2 QUES
Statement and Conclusion – 2 QUES
Missing Numbers – 2 QUES

Advice : Most of the questions were similar to previous questions, but a couple of questions were tricky/wrong. Team Qmaths advise you not to spend more time on any particular question, if its doubtful, skip it and move on to next questions and return later if time is available.

Advice : Some of the static GK questions were asked from previous year repeated questions, if you have revised all SSC previous year Questions, this section will be booster in your marks.

Advice : Questions were of similar standard as seen in previous years.

SSC CPO 2017 Tier-1 Exam Analysis: English Language and Comprehension

Questions were asked from the following topics:

Error Spotting - 5
Fill in the Blanks -5
Sentence Improvement -5
Idiom Phrases -5
One Word Substitution -5
Antonym -5
Synonym -5
Spelling Errors -5
Reading Comprehension -5
Cloze Test - 5

Advice : This section was seen bit confusing than other sections. Although Vocabulary portion was mostly from previous years. Questions were not properly ordered which caused confusion to many aspirants.

SSC CPO 2017 Tier-1 Exam Good Attempt Analysis:

1) General Intelligence and Reasoning : 42-45 (Difficulty Level : Easy - Moderate)

2) General Awareness : 25-30 (Difficulty Level : Moderate)

3) Quantitative Aptitude : 38-45 (Difficulty Level : Easy - Moderate)

4) English Comprehension : 35-40 (Difficulty Level : Moderate)

Overall Good Attempts: 140-150 (Moderate)
