As you all know that SSC CGL 2017 Notification has come and it came along with lot of confusions due to poorly drafted notification which contains many typographical errors for which it is expected that SSC will soon issue a Corrigendum Notice. In this post we are sharing a PGPortal reply which clearly states that Age limit in Inspector Posts in CBEC (Examiner, Preventive Officer, Excise Inspectors) has been revised from 27 to 30 years in compliance of DOPT guidelines. Respected, I am a aspirant fr cgl 2017 but unfortunately i am uable to give cgl as my age is above 27..it s a request frm cbec to give us a chance as we people left our job so that we can join central govt employmnt ..its regarding for the post of grade pay between 4200 and 4800.please look into the matter as cgl notification is going to out on 16/5/17

Details	:	So far as CBEC is concerned upper age limits of the posts i.e Inspector Central Excise Inspector Preventive Office Inspector Examiner under CBEC has been revised from 27 to 30 years in compliance of DOPT guidelines regarding the same the RRs may be accessed through cbec.gov.in adn attached herein may be seen

Respected Sir, as per gazette notification of the exercise and custom department, INCOME TAX has amended the age limit of various post like Exercise inspector, preventive officer, examiner and ITI have made 30 years of age, but one pg portal is circulating in social media and your department has said that the age has not amended. Please clarify few points. 1. Whether it has been amended or not . 2. If age has not amended , which is the current status with whom the entire process is pending. Please follow up the matter with department sir, its like do or die situation for us. We have been fighting for this for the last two years. We have sent a lot of grivances to PMO and PMO told us that the department will lool into the matter. Sir SSC is going to publish the CGL 2017 notification by april end, if you kindly complete the matter before we shalll be highly obliged to you.
