Many of you may want to know about the vacancy of Assistant Section officers (Formerly known as Assistant in CSS). At present SSC Tentative vacancies shows 0 in ASO but RTI reveals that ASO has 407 vacancies for SSC CGL 2016.

It may also be noted that there is 0 vacancy in Divisional Accountant through SSC CGL 2016. This RTI was filed by Team Qmaths and 100% authentic.

2. CS-IA deals with Direct Recruit ASOs of Central Secretariat Service and hence information furnished herein limits to that only. There are 407 vacancies for CGLE-2016 (204-UR, 111-OBC, 61-SC and 31-ST) under Central Secretariat Service. CS-IA has no information in respect of other points, which may be obtained from SSC.
